Washington, D.C. – Rep. Mike Thompson (CA-04) released the following statement in response to Republicans’ government funding package, which included funding for ICE:
“We should be cutting ICE funding, not throwing more money at the very agency that is terrorizing families and killing Americans in the street,” said Thompson.
“I voted NO on today’s funding bill because there is nothing legal, moral, ethical, nor humane with what’s going on in Minnesota. Enough is enough. My Republican colleagues in Congress need to grow some courage and join us to impeach Kristi Noem and stop the chaos.”
